Gentoo update for PEAR-Net_Traceroute

DESCRIPTION: Gentoo has issued an update for PEAR-Net_Traceroute. This fixes a vulnerability, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to the “Net_Traceroute::traceroute()” method not properly sanitising the “host” parameter before using it in an “exec()” call. This can be exploited to inject and execute arbitrary shell commands.

SOLUTION: Update to “dev-php/PEAR-Net_Traceroute-0.21.2″ or later.
